RAINNO leads Work Package 7 (Dissemination, Exploitation and Communication), driving the full lifecycle of KnoWare’s external engagement strategy. Our primary focus is on building a strong and recognisable identity for the KnoWare initiative, raising awareness of its research outputs among scientific, policy, and industry audiences, and coordinating an efficient communication and dissemination strategy across all 13 consortium partners.
Specifically, RAINNO leads three of WP7’s four tasks: T7.1 (Communication & Dissemination Planning), T7.2 (Dissemination to scientific, technical, and policy communities), and T7.3 (Exploitation, IPR Management & Sustainability Planning). This includes publishing results in high-impact venues, organising events and webinars, managing the project’s website and five social media channels, and developing a go-to-market strategy for the successful uptake of KnoWare’s open-source tools and methodological frameworks.
RAINNO also drives the exploitation strategy: compiling the KER inventory, mapping IP landscapes, identifying commercial and non-commercial exploitation routes, and developing sustainability and business models for core assets beyond the project’s lifespan. An IPR Core Team and two consortium-wide IPR workshops (M12, M24) ensure alignment with FAIR principles and EU open science obligations.
