Grigorios Matenoglou

Grigorios is an accomplished physicist with over 20 years of research experience and more than a decade in project management. Holding both an MSc and a PhD, he has led and contributed to high-impact international projects across academia and industry, with a focus on innovation, collaboration, and technological advancement. Throughout his career, Grigorios has successfully secured funding and managed projects under major frameworks, including Horizon Europe. He has built and led cross-functional teams, developed strategic partnerships, and driven collaborative research efforts across the USA, EU, and the Middle East. His expertise spans Industry 4.0 technologies, including additive manufacturing and the circular economy, where he has also led technical training and capacity-building programs.
